Can someone please help, i'm about to cry/kill someone. How to install PS3 patch?

So there are a number of patches with a number of explanations of ow to install them, and it's all getting a bit annoying. This is my first Pro Evo since 2005/6.

I just bought PES 2012 and seeing as it's been out for ages I thought it would be easy to update, but this is the most frustrating time i've had in years.

Can someone give me a quick, simple, layman way of installing kits and logo's onto the PS3, PLEASE!! I don't understand why there isn't one already I tried the BLES patch think but after copying it all (with the right formated disk drive) nothing happened. I feel like crying.

Why is it so hard? I have a 'Platinum' UK version of the game so can I even install all the real names and stuff? Please, any response will help immensely. I'll be sitting here waiting. Even a link to a good walkthrough will do.
