For offline users:
Put “Data” and “Download” folders into the main game folder.
Put EDIT00000000 file into the your “save” folder.
For online users:
1. If you use some modified files in Data folder, turn off all of them(restore from backup or just hide). Hide DpFileList.bin from “download” folder. Hide EDIT00000000, SYSTEM00000000 from “save” folder as well. We have to restore game to the original state. Check files via Steam. Update game to the latest version.
2. Put “Data” folder into the main game folder.
Put EDIT00000000 file into the “save” folder.
note: Don’t use DpFileListGenerator or other HEX editors. “Download” folder has to containe only official DLC. It means that DpFileList.bin has to be original!
If you are sure that you have fully original updated game, just hide EDIT00000000, SYSTEM00000000 files and perform step 2.
If you had no problem with previous versions of the patch perform step 2 only.
We’ve got quite strange update this time. At present there is no fully working method to change DpFileList. It looks Konami is trying to be the only one who’s providing content for license holders. This is good that we get more care than ever before, but this is bad the same time.
Huge gratitude to everyone, whose work has helped in the creation of the patch, whose hard work helps the community to get more pleasure from the game. Again and again.
Was added Bundesliga, updated squads for national and some others teams, improved quality of some elements. Were held current hot corrections.
System files of this patch do not containe added teams and players, as well as any other modifications that can lead to loss of online connection or crash the game. Was corrected only team names. That’s why we can use the same data for both varients – online and offline.
You can import your team(s) data into this patch if you used own original EDIT00000000 before. In order to comfortably use all DC patch features, you have to start new ML(BL).
– Don’t use ML, BL saves created in other patches.
– Don’t import edited teams between different patches.
..and you save yourself a headache.
When you choose between online-offline modes in switch you don’t think about what it really means. As a rule, online button disables the modified system files like Team.bin Player.bin PlayerAssignment.bin PlayerAppearance.bin Coach.bin Balls.bin Boots.bin Gloves.bin Stadium3.bin Tactics.bin TacticsFormation.bin etc..
Each developer, on its discretion, makes changes to these files – adds teams, players, stadiums, changes appearance elements, changes tactics, makes transfers, licenses teams..
That is, each one creates a new unique relationships and dependencies between the private elements of the whole game system.
All these changes migrate to EDIT, ML(BL) files. Likewise, all of these changes migrate to TEXPORT file when you use “export-import team” option in game.
Such transfer (between patches) contributes a mistake into the new system and you get an error or crash the game, because new data are felt as something alien what the system has to block.
(Moreover, sometimes such import can be fatal, even within the same patch, between online-offline modes, between versions).
Perhaps you feel the consequences not immediately, but it catches up you in ML, BL, Online.
I can warn you, but I can’t stop you from repeating the same mistake over and over, year to year. This should be your own decision.
