Mario Gómez García (born 10 July 1985 in Riedlingen) is a German footballer of German-Spanish descent (his father is a Spaniard from Granada and his mother is German). Mario Gómez currently plays for VfB Stuttgart. Gómez was brought up in Unlingen, an Upper Swabian village.
